30%

30% of the municipalities in the state of Oaxaca are classified as “highly marginalized” and 61% of the population lives in moderate or extreme poverty.

We envision a world where families and communities live with dignity and exercise their food sovereignty by growing, consuming, exchanging, and marketing locally-produced healthy food using sustainable agroecological methods. As we evolve through our new alliance, there is still much work to be done in the fight for food sovereignty and building sustainable food systems. Your continued support ensures that we can continue to innovate, grow and create impact.
