Celebrating 20 years of transforming lives in community!
From Puente a la Salud we have worked to improve the quality of life of people through food and sustainable local development, promoting projects that empower and create opportunities.
None of this would be possible without the women, men and children whose collaboration gives meaning to each project, nor would it be possible without the generosity of our donors.
Puente a la Salud was born with a clear vision: to create sustainable change in communities where nutrition, health and self-sufficiency are closely linked. For almost our entire existence, amaranth cultivation and agroecology guided us to build a development model that integrates health with the local economy, preserving culture and ancestral knowledge.
From the strategic alliance with SiKanda, we have integrated more elements of collaboration with agricultural communities such as migrants from the Mixteca living in the United States, as well as the economic empowerment of women, thus promoting gender equity and the well-being of families.
On this anniversary, we look forward to continuing to be a bridge between communities and the world, to continue making a deep and lasting impact in Oaxaca.
